5 April - 21 June 2014

I currently have work in an exhibition titled 'Resolved: Journeys in Australian Design at Object Gallery. The stories of 12 designers that have been selected from the "Workshopped" exhibition that is held annually in Sydney.

Each designer is presented on a modular shelving system with graphics that aims to take you on the designer's journey. Within the context of each exhibit, the notion of design process is explored. The works displayed include contemporary objects with traditional cultural expressions, experimental use of material and manufacturing systems and innovative application of new technology.

This is a touring exhibition which will travel to 8 other venues around Australia. This includes; Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Katoonma NSW, Western Plain Cultural Centre, Dubbo NSW, Tamworth Regional Art Gallery NSW, Cairns Regional Art Gallery QLD, Bunbury Regional Galleries WA, Geraldton Regional Art Gallery WA, Albury Library Museum NSW, Tasmanian Design Centre, Launceston TAS.

Object has commissioned and produced micro-documentaries on each designer featured in this exhibition. A video on my work titled 'exploring the intricate process of maki-e, applied to her Flowery series'. Please click to view.
