The Chinese zodiac, year of the horse is riding to an end. 2014 has been a turbulent year mixed with various projects, challenges and thinking jewellery on the home front. To summarise the year 2014, an internal desire to start with an ongoing documented style journal; A journal which documents my thoughts and processes of my practice of jewellery and object making. In the next month and so, I hope to consolidate some of this year's highlights. This quote, by the American poet T.S Eliot strongly resonates with me at the moment. A metaphor on the occurrence of life's frequency, What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from.
